Welcome to NHEA

We are an unapologetically, faith-in-Jesus-based community of homeschooling families.

Since 1978, the Niagara Home Educators’ Association has been connecting and supporting homeschooling families throughout the Niagara Region.

We are a Christ-centered community of homeschooling families who come from a variety of backgrounds, denominations, and expressions of faith. We seek to focus on what we share, walk in grace toward one another, and create a community where families can find encouragement, friendship, practical support, and opportunities to gather.

CONNECT

Homeschooling is a journey best shared with others. NHEA helps families build meaningful connections through parent support meetings, family gatherings, community events, parent-led activities, and opportunities to meet other homeschooling families throughout the Niagara Region.

SUPPORT

Homeschooling comes with both challenges and joys. We provide encouragement, information, resources, and opportunities for parents to support one another through the everyday realities of home education.

GATHER

We believe community is built by gathering intentionally, regularly, and authentically. Throughout the year, NHEA families come together for support meetings, seasonal celebrations, family events, commencement, and a variety of parent-led activities.

Annual membership is $50 and provides access to NHEA member resources, community communication, NHEA events, and opportunities to connect with other homeschooling families throughout the year.
